How it works:
  • Book your event with DJ Recess - a month in advance is recommended
  • Chose either a full or half day Dance-a-thon
  • Promote the event with fun and funky DJ Recess Posters as well as a letter to parents introducing the event
  • Photocopy DJ Recess Dance-a-thon pledge sheets and distribute them to all students
  • Students can make song requests using song request sheets provided to teachers or online at www.djrecess.com/requests.html
  • Students collect pledges and return completed pledge sheets and donations on the day of the Dance-a-thon
  • Enjoy the DJ Recess Dance-a-thon!

Easy To Run School Fundraisers

The Recess Experience:
DJ Recess's interactive Danc-a-thons are simple to run, book and pay for while energizing the whole school.  Here are the services offered before, at and after your event.

Before Recess Arrives:
  • online music requests
  • downloadable letter to parents
  • downloadable pledge forms
  • downloadable posters
Optional:
  • Online pledge system (extra charges apply - 10% of funds raised)
  • Convenient for extensive fundraising
  • Visa, Mastercard and AMEX
Party Time:
  • either 2 or 4 hours of music and age-appropriate interactive games
  • party lighting
Optional:
  • Tuck shop - raise extra funds with help of 2-4 adult volunteers
  • A range of party favours $2 each
  • School keeps 50% of take
After Recess:
All funds to school within two weeks of event (i.e. balance of optional online fundraising)

A performer for young audiences AND parent of two, I understand how important fundraising activities are to enhancing your child's educational experience. 
A DJ Recess dance-a-thon is a low cost option for your school fundraiser.  Schools pay a flat rate so more of the money raised by the school stays with the school - where it belongs.

Fees (HST included):                                               Booking:
Half-day (2 hours of music) - $300                             $100 deposit secures date
Full-day (4 hours of music) - $550                              Contact us for availability
Optional online fundraising - 10% of funds raised
Payment due day of event
